I, at first, did not think that "The Sims" would be a good game.

I thought it would be another cheap simulation game. Boy, was I wrong! A friend let me try it, and as soon as I popped the CD into my drive and started playing, I was overwelhmed at all the choices and decisions I had!

You almost have the power of God! In a way, you are a god! You have the power of making or breaking a Sim's life!

At times, the game is hard and challenging and slow-going so it helps to give your Sim a row of commands and then speed up the game.

A few problems I have with this game is that it takes FOREVER to load (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating just a little)!

And also, there is no minimize feature so whenever I'm supposed to be doing my homework and my parents come in, I have no way of clearing the screen in time.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this game at an 8 because I have played better games (THPS2 kicked!), but I reccomend this game to whoever has too much time and lots of it (time flies by when you play. Trust me.)

The sims is a statergy game where you have to make a family, make them a house and give them a job! The game can turn out in trillions of different ways!

The family making and the house building is the easy part, keeping the people under control is the hard part!

The Sims is sooooooooo cool! Some people underestimate it's fantastic graphics and incredible entertainment.



People looking at this page now have fun and parents never underestimate this complex creation.

The original Sims is good, but you get the most fufillment by buying all of the expansion packs.



After a couple of weeks it does get a bit tedious, but its still a lift up when your bored.



In the game you make people, you can choose their star signs, personality, names, gender, adult or child and the colour of their skins (I recommend one adult male and one adult female).



Then you buy a lot (a lot of land) and build their house on it. There are loads of things that you can buy, from beds to suits of armour to a DJ's beat box.



Your Sims can interact with most things, each other as well. If they get to be really good friends, they can kiss and if they have a different surname, you can make them propose marriage.



It's interesting because you can have themed neighbourhoods e.g Medievil gothic, or Futeristic.



You can make really good Sim friends 'Play in bed' when you buy a certain bed. if you get all expansion packs you have eight neighbourhoods, with the original you only have one.



So that means you can have loads of houses with loads of family members in them.



One neighbourhood has about ten spaces for houses. The first two neighbourhoods have pre-built houses that the designers have made.



It also comes with a tutorial to help you if you are a beginner. There are ten career tracks for your sims, e.g Millatry, Politics, Life of Crime, Medical and Business.



When you start a job you start on the lowest level, if your Sim goes into work with a good mood, your Sim might get promoted. Child Sims have to go to school.



To make their grades go higher, you have to make them study. If their grades go below an F, they get sent to Millatary School, that means they leave the game.



All in all, this game is really good, has loads of different things, but it does get a bit boring after a while. Four out of five stars.

This game challenges your mind with what it is like to have children and even how to take care of people and keep the house clean.



This is a fun game but can get very annoying when the people start to scream and cry all of the time.



If you do not have this game I would recommend you buy it and if your not sure but still like the sound of it, just borrow it because it is very amusing and your parents can't complain that this game is too violent or curses to much.

The Sims is an extremely different game, but fun! I've never moved people round with my mouse before but it's cool. I reccomend this game to any good buyer. Marks out of ten ... 10!
